Farah Fahim and Dr. Faisal have always been the kind of people who put others first. It shows in the work they do.

With a background rooted in healthcare, the family has spent years building and running medical and aesthetic practices across the Newcastle area including Skinduced Aesthetics Clinic, their own aesthetic clinic in Cameron Park. At the heart of everything they’ve built is the same simple belief: people deserve to feel cared for.

So when the opportunity came to bring that same spirit into the world of hospitality, it felt less like a business decision and more like a natural next step.

Farah and Dr. Faisal have always loved to travel. They know what it feels like to walk into a place that’s just a room and they know the difference when someone actually makes you feel welcome. That difference matters. And it was that feeling, more than anything else, that drew them to the Shearing Shed Motor Inn.

They didn’t just want to run a motel. They wanted to create a place where guests — whether they’re passing through Dubbo for work, on a road trip with the family, or finally taking that getaway they’ve been putting off – could walk through the door and feel like they belong there.

Sitting right in the heart of Dubbo on Cobra Street, the Shearing Shed Motor Inn has a character all its own. The rural charm, the warm spaces, the little details that make a stay comfortable, Farah and her team are committed to keeping all of that alive, and making it even better.
