Is the room genuinely wheelchair accessible?

Yes. It’s on the ground floor with roll-in, roll-out entry, no steps and a designated car space directly at the door. The bathroom has rails in the shower and around the toilet, plus a shower chair and toilet chair.

Can I book the room as a queen only, or do I have to take the twin setup?

Both options are available. The room can be set up as a queen, or as a twin with a queen bed plus a single bed. Just tell us which configuration you’d like when you book.

Are bed raisers included, or do I need to ask?

Bed raisers are available on request, free of charge. Let us know when you book, and we’ll have the bed raised and ready for you on arrival.

Where is the car park in relation to the room?

Your parking space is right at the door of the room no walking through a main car park, no stairs in between.

Does the bathroom have a bath?

No. The bathroom has a roll-in shower with rails and a shower chair. There’s no bath in this room. If you’d prefer a bath, our Family Suite with Corner Bath or Deluxe King Suite would suit better, though those rooms are not set up with the same accessibility features.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:00 am. If you need extra time on either end because of travel or mobility, let us know, and we’ll do what we can.

Is breakfast available?

Yes. Cooked breakfasts and breakfast baskets are both on offer. Place your order at reception by 7 pm the night before. A breakfast basket can be delivered to the room the evening before so you don’t need to head to reception in the morning.

How close is the room to Taronga Western Plains Zoo?

The zoo is a short, easy drive from the motel. The zoo itself has accessible pathways and parking, and if you’d rather not drive after a big day out, ask us about the Ride to the Zoo option when you book.
